How Much Does SEO Cost in Thailand?
Different prices can mean different work.
Before comparing monthly fees, check what each quote includes: website fixes, content and performance tracking. This guide breaks down the scope and costs to clarify before hiring an SEO provider.

What Does the SEO Fee Include?
| Compare | Advisory work | Hands-on work |
|---|---|---|
| Website | Audit the site and recommend changes | Make the agreed changes and test them |
| Content | Plan topics and provide writing briefs | Write, improve and publish content |
| Your team | Make the changes | Provide information and approve the work |
What Affects SEO Pricing?
Before comparing prices, check how the work differs between websites and who will carry it out. Both the provider’s work and the tasks left to your team affect the total budget.
Website Condition
A well-structured site may need targeted fixes. Duplicate pages, access problems or a site migration add development and testing work. An SEO Audit helps identify that work before setting a budget.
Pages and Languages
Count the pages to create or improve, their formats and their languages. A Thai–English site needs keyword research, content and technical checks for each language, so the quote should specify each set of deliverables.
Content Requirements
Check whether the fee covers research, interviews, writing, imagery and fact-checking. Content that needs specialist information involves different work from a short copy update.
Search Competition
Consider competition and the range of search topics to cover. Ask which pages will be improved, why they take priority and what needs ongoing work. This makes it easier to see where the budget goes.
Choose a Working Model
Choose an engagement based on the work required and the team available to carry it out. These examples help compare scopes of work; they are not Brandstorm service packages.
Project-Based SEO
- Who It Suits
- A site with a defined issue, a one-off audit requirement or an upcoming migration.
- What to Specify
- The pages to review, the fixes to recommend or implement, and how completed work will be checked.
- Before You Commit
- Confirm whether the project ends with a report or includes fixes. Agree on delivery dates and revision rounds.
Monthly SEO
- Who It Suits
- A business that needs ongoing website improvements, content production and performance monitoring.
- What to Specify
- Monthly deliverables, who carries out each task and when progress will be reviewed.
- Before You Commit
- Check the realistic workload, additional charges and the terms for renewing or ending the engagement.
SEO Consulting
- Who It Suits
- A business with writers or developers that needs support with planning and reviewing their work.
- What to Specify
- The plan, recommendations and reviews of work carried out by your internal team.
- Before You Commit
- Agree who implements and approves each task, and allow for the time your team needs to deliver it.
What Should an SEO Quote Include?
Before comparing totals, check that the proposed work fits your business. The quote should make clear who does what, when work is due and which costs are additional.
The Work You Will Receive
- Scope of Work
- List the products, services, audiences, languages and website pages covered. Specify which tasks are excluded from the fee.
- Deliverables and Timing
- Itemize the audits, fixes, content and publishing work. Agree on quantities where useful, delivery dates, revision rounds and acceptance criteria.
- Progress and Reporting
- Set a baseline and reporting schedule. Track relevant non-brand searches, priority-page performance and customer inquiries where measurement is available.
Terms to Agree Upfront
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Name who supplies information, approves content, edits code, publishes and checks the work, so the provider and your team can coordinate delivery.
- Fees and Contract Terms
- Separate setup fees, monthly or project charges and additional work. Include taxes, invoicing terms, the minimum commitment and termination notice.
- Access and Handover
- Agree on access to the domain, website and analytics, plus the content and files you will receive when the engagement ends.
Check additional costs. Ask about specialist writing, photography, translation, tools, hosting, development and advertising. Use our Technical SEO Checklist to review the technical tasks in a proposal.
Calculate the Full Budget
Choose a planning period, add recurring fees, then add one-off work and internal delivery costs. Keep advertising and other channels visible as separate budget lines.
| Illustrative item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Monthly work: THB 30,000 × 3 months | THB 90,000 |
| One-off website implementation | THB 20,000 |
| Internal content and approval time | THB 10,000 |
| Planning total | THB 120,000 |
All figures are hypothetical arithmetic examples, not market benchmarks or a Brandstorm quotation. This example excludes taxes and advertising. Three months is a budgeting window, not a promise of SEO results.
Replace every figure with a written quote or your own cost estimate. If the monthly fee already includes a task, do not add it again. Record optional work separately so that a change in scope does not silently become a higher commitment.
Compare Like-for-Like Work
Put competing proposals against the same brief. A lower fee may be appropriate for a narrower assignment; it may also leave implementation, content or reporting with your team. The difference must be visible before you decide.
Recommendation Only
A provider supplies an audit and monthly advice. Your team writes, develops, publishes and tests the changes. Compare the provider fee plus the time and costs of that internal work.
Implementation Included
A provider also delivers agreed page edits and content, with review and release checks. Verify the number and complexity of deliverables, approval rounds and exclusions before comparing the total.
Treat guaranteed first-place rankings, unexplained link packages and reports that cannot show completed work as reasons to ask for clarification. Buying links to manipulate rankings can violate search spam policies. Price and a tool score are not evidence of a safe or useful method.
Review SEO Before Planning the Next Budget
Agree on a baseline and review schedule at the start. Look at completed work, search performance and customer inquiries together, then use the evidence to choose the next priorities.
Completed Work
Check which agreed tasks have been published or implemented, what has been tested and which outstanding issues need attention.
Search Performance
Compare trends with the baseline and review search queries alongside priority pages. Short-term ranking changes alone do not establish value.
Customer Inquiries
Assess whether visitors are interested in the services you want to sell and whether inquiries fit your audience, using the tracking data available.
Match the Work to the Budget
With a limited budget, prioritize important product or service pages and the problems holding them back. Keep time for research, fact-checking and measurement. If you are allocating budget across channels, read our SEO vs Google Ads guide.

SEO Cost Questions
Is There a Standard SEO Price in Thailand?
A useful estimate depends on your website, scope, delivery responsibilities and agreement period. This guide does not claim a market-wide price. Request a written scope and compare the full cost of delivering it.
Are Content and Website Fixes Included?
They are included only when the agreement says so. Check research, writing, translation, development, publication, revisions and testing separately. Recommendations and implementation are different deliverables.
Does a Higher Fee Guarantee Better Rankings?
No. A higher fee may buy more time, specialist input or delivery capacity, but it cannot guarantee a ranking. Evaluate the proposed work, evidence, responsibilities and reporting instead.
Is Advertising Spend Part of SEO Cost?
Keep advertising spend separate unless a combined proposal clearly itemizes it. Google Ads buys advertising placements; it does not purchase better organic rankings.
Can a Business Start With a Smaller Scope?
Yes. Define a limited set of priority pages or a specific technical problem, agree on deliverables and review the evidence before expanding. Avoid reducing the scope so far that nobody can implement or verify the work.
What Is Needed for an SEO Quote?
Prepare your website URL, business goals, priority products or services, target languages, internal team capacity and budget range. A site review may be needed before implementation can be priced accurately.
